This by That and Second Home hosted a conversation about the architecture of art: how design for cultural spaces is informed, the importance of community spaces for art, and how to approach designing or dismantling spaces, whether physical or conceptual, in order to support challenging art and dialogue during Frieze Week in Los Angeles in February 2023.

Moderated by Honora Shea, co-founder of This by That, panelists included: architect John K. Chan, founder and Design Director of Formation Association; designer and curator Ktae Yeh Chiu, director of Materials & Applications and faculty at USC, architecture and curator Priscilla Fraser, founder and principal of PFAAD and former Executive Director of the MAK Center for Art and Architecture; and architect Zeina Koreitem, founding partner (with John May) of MILLIØNS and design faculty at SCI-Arc.
